A self-titled release by an artist called Guu, out on the Berlin label/party collective Tax Free. Co-produced by Tax Free, TRjj Compiler, iRiAi Verlag, El Muelle 1931, and All Night Flight. A strange and mysterious set of improvisations in which percussion, electronics, woodwinds, and strings shift freely and vividly across multilayered rhythms.

The group appears to consist of Max Graef, the maverick producer/DJ behind Money $ex and Tax Free; Max Stocklosa, aka TRJJ, who was releasing work on Stroom around 2000; Sebastian von der Heide, who works alongside him in ALEPHER and other projects; and TBZ of Montel Palmer. Expansive improvisations on percussion, synths, woodwinds, and strings, wrapped in an intoxicated haze. Eleven experimental miniatures that suggest abstract miniature-garden jazz drifting in from the kitchen, beatdown, and Fourth World-style imaginary folk music. Small, unique music whose modest scale is part of the charm. Recommended! (Original Japanese text by Adachi)
