Format

12inch 3790 JPY

Deep, enigmatic synthesis paired with powerful kicks — a 1996-vintage progressive techno treasure that lay dormant on DAT tape until now finally gets a vinyl release! A collaborative work by sound engineer ALEX PICCIAFUOCHI, who contributed to numerous Italian progressive classics, and O.M.A.R. J. Also includes a remix by legendary Italo house producer FRANCESCO FARFA.

A precious archival find released on EVASIONE DIGITALE, the SOUND METAPHORS sub-label dedicated to '90s Italian progressive sound! Produced and recorded during a 1996 session by master producer O.M.A.R. J — known as a close ally of ROBY J — and engineer ALEX PICCIAFUOCHI, these long-shelved tapes finally see the light of day. "Nocturnal" (sample1) drives a massive four-to-the-floor beneath mysterious, sci-fi-like synthesis, and alongside the FRANCESCO FARFA remix, we especially recommend the "Breakbeat ReMix" (sample2), which adds sharp electro beats and melody.
