Track List
The Shaketown series is back with another sunshine-fueled chapter - this time celebrating the blissful, sun-drenched sounds of the Balearic Islands. Following the highly acclaimed African Shaketown and Caribbean Shaketown EPs, the third installment, Balearic Shaketown, delivers four irresistible edits and remixes of classic ‘80s pop gems - lovingly
reimagined by MAGIC JAMS for today’s dancefloors.
First up is “Cloudbusting”, a song that always begged for a proper
dancefloor remix — and finally, it’s here. Expect funky live drums, unexpected turns, and a blissful, uplifting spirit that keeps building till the end.
Next comes “Orinoco Flow”, transformed from ethereal dream-pop into a
Balearic Big Room 90s Breakbeat Monster. It’s cheeky, it’s fun, and it’s guaranteed to blow the roof off any open-air.
On the deeper side, “The Space Between” by Roxy Music gets a late-night treatment — shimmering with tape delay, hazy synths, and psychedelic disco vibes that feel like a sensual dance with a stranger.
Closing out the EP is an extended dance edit of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” — pure anthem material, driven by a groovy shuffle beat and that unmistakably uplifting chorus.
Together, these four tracks capture the carefree hedonism and emotional warmth of the Balearic spirit — equal parts nostalgia and euphoria.
