Early UK '90s hardcore/breakbeat. From Rabbit City, a label born out of pirate radio and rave culture that also released Aphex Twin's "Analog Bubblebath Vol 2" as its second release that same year, comes a team-up of the label's two founders. Catalogue number one, a 1991 EP.

Straight from the heart of the 1991 UK rave scene — CUT001, later known as Rabbit City 001, captures the raw underground energy of the era. Originally a short-run white label promo, the record became an instant cult classic.
Produced by Blow alongside Colin Faver (Kiss FM legend RIP), the release was born out of London’s early rave network — record shops packed with weekend ravers, distributors playing new cuts down the phone, and pirate radio pushing the boundaries.
A-side: “Cutter Mix” – reworked by Blow & Colin Faver, featuring edits and samples cut on Akai S1000 and reel-to-reel tape.
AA-side: “Beyond Control” – created in Blow’s home studio, pure late-night energy. Demand exploded after the record was bootlegged in New York, forcing a repress — and launching Rabbit City Records into the UK rave history books.
Essential early ’90s white label energy — raw, independent, and beyond control. Finally, after many years its back on vinyl where this masterpiece belongs, demand is huge, you have been warned!
