Byamm is a masked project from Cyril McCammon — a keyboardist active since the '90s with the likes of Norman Cook's FreakPower and Children Of Judah — and Matt Smooth, another veteran producer involved in numerous projects including Tru Thoughts' Jumbonics and Speeka. Featuring singer Adeleye Omotayo, who has lent vocals to Gorillaz, Amy Winehouse, Basement Jaxx and more. Grown-up vocals, rich arrangements, seasoned playing, funkalatina, Afro-Latin tropical textures, sci-fi, futurism and fantasy all combine into acid jazz with a curious allure.
