From HALFBY's long-awaited new album "The Sound Of Memory Lane" comes a 7-inch release of "Between Them," a bittersweet, pure girls' indie anthem — at once nostalgic and fresh — featuring guest vocalist MIYA (Ålborg), with a crystalline neo-acoustic feel that also calls to mind '90s Swedish pop! The flip side features a sublime floating, mellow electro downtempo remix by Tokyo-based synth-pop band tiger bae — dreamy, daydreaming soft-psychedelic dubwise business. Belatedly, it has now arrived at Newtone records as well.

京都在住のDJ/トラックメイカー。これまでに、Ginger Root、Mei ehara、Jun Saito(YSIG)、VIDEOTAPEMUSIC、王舟、Alfred Beach Sandalなど、国内外のゲストを迎え、メジャー／インディー合わせた7枚のアルバムをリリース。
最新作『The Sound Of Memory Lane』では、マイヒーロー小山田圭吾(Cornelius)、Dante Elephanteなどをfeat.し、ハワイ三部作以降のバレアリック解釈に、90年代のエッセンスを加えた、クラブ経由のインディー・ダンスを確立。
また最近では、舞台サマータイムマシン・ブルースの劇伴、Eテレ「いないいないばあっ！」や、農林水産省「NIPPON FOOD SHIFT」への楽曲提供、TEI TOWA氏監修のINTERSECT BY LEXUSのMIXなども手掛ける。

A dreamy, soft-psychedelic girls' indie anthem shimmering with the bittersweet glow of soft rock, neo-acoustic, and Swedish pop. Guest musicians include MC.sirafu (Kataomoi / Utsukushiki Hikari / Pome Shih Tzu) on trumpet, Wakana Ikeda on flute, and KENT VALLAY on bass. The flip side features a sublime floating, mellow electronica soulful downtempo remix — dreamy, daydreaming soft-psychedelic dubwise — by Tokyo synth-pop band tiger bae, whose live set at the official SXSW 2025 showcase drew wide attention and whose new album "Drift With Me," released last year, has been winning listeners around the world.
