*The Bass Has Left The Building*, the 2009 album by Disrupt—the founder of the 〈Jahtari〉 label—which marked the label’s first-ever LP release, is finally being reissued for the first time since its original release. The 2026 Edition expands the 8-bit dub universe with the addition of an instrumental version of Kiki Hitomi’s “Nightwalkers” and “Berzerk Dub,” previously exclusive to the limited-edition 7-inch. Another highlight is the heavy bass mastering by CGB1 at Dubplates & Mastering in Berlin.

A masterpiece by Disrupt—the digital dub maverick who fuses roots dub with classic video game music—and a follow-up to his early solo work released on Actress’s label *Werk Discs*, has been happily reissued. A meticulously crafted, unconventional dub work in which soundscapes from retro sci-fi films, classic games, and dub seem to pour endlessly from outer space, dragging the listener into a vortex of deep bass.
