Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys was so deeply moved by The Beatles’ *Rubber Soul*, which had just been released at the time, that he and Tony Asher engaged in repeated sound experiments. After much trial and error in the recording process, they finally completed and released *Pet Sounds*, a groundbreaking work that has gone down in music history. (released on May 16, 1966), has been released on vinyl for the first time!!
