Although the label only featured a stamp of the title and the information section simply read “VARIOUS ARTIST” with no other details, this is a reissue of rare and previously unreleased tracks by SWAG, aka Chris Duckenfield. In line with Discogs, I’ve listed it as “Duckbeats.” Highlighted by an unofficial remix of the BLEEP-era Nightmares On Wax classic “I’m For Real” by MCMXC (SWAG’s alter ego), this release captures the essence of the UK house sound and the legacy of BLEEP.

A1 was released in 2010 exclusively on the MCMXC label, and today (May 21, 2026) the original track—included on a bootleg 12-inch that currently fetches tens of thousands of yen on Discogs—is a remastered, unofficial remix of Nightmares On Wax’s 1990 BLEEP-era classic “I’m For Real,” released anonymously by SWAG. B1 features “Sa Punta” by Ibiza, Techno Latino, and Jet Project. It includes a rare version distinct from the “Duckbeats Dub” that was heavily played by artists like Dixon and Dubfire. B2 is reportedly an unreleased version of “Pass It On” by Adopted Super Kid. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
