The fourth installment in the Dubatriation Dubplate Style series—which continues to showcase unique releases—is the 7-inch single “Philosofy,” a timeless melodica instrumental dub masterpiece created by Italian producer Crazy Hertz in collaboration with his mentor, Alpha & Omega, a legendary figure in the UK dub scene (a limited edition of 500 numbered copies).

A powerful collaboration where the nostalgia of the melodica and the hypnotic textures of psychedelic electronica and ambient music mysteriously fuse with the Steppers. The soundscape, crafted with Crazy Hertz’s exceptional mixing skills, is impressive, and the immersive dub sound on Side B, “Philosofy - part 2 [Dub]” (sample 2), is also great.
