A distillation of CV313’s euphoric side. Featuring floating synths imbued with a mysterious beauty and a driving kick—this masterpiece of 2010s dub techno has been meticulously remastered by POLE and reissued! A 2015 release from CV313 (Echospace), a fluid dub techno project centered around ROD MODELL and STEPHEN HITCHELL. The dub track on the B-side, where beauty and edginess coexist within a stimulating mirage of noise, is also excellent.
Track List

Originally a project led by STEPHEN HITCHELL, though ROD MODELL was also deeply involved, this work—featuring the original master tape recordings—has been meticulously remastered by the master craftsman POLE at “scape mastering” in Berlin and is now being reissued! This 2015 single features representative tracks from cv313, taken from the two-CD album “LIVE,” which was released exclusively in Japan in 2009 to critical acclaim. From the ethereal floating synths and elastic bassline to the delicate effects that create a subtle tremor in the keyboards, “Lost Sequence” (sample 1) is beautiful and solid no matter where you listen. “Intrusion Dub” (sample 2) extracts and emphasizes the noise subtly embedded in the original track. While the remastering certainly plays a role, it almost feels as though the music has gained even more depth with the passage of time since its release. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
