In “Le Petit Bonhomme Orange,” they deliver a scathing satire of an overbearing leader named “D. Trump” from a child’s perspective. In “Le Gros Hit,” they showcase a unique and adventurous brand of children’s strange rock that seems to revel in absurdity itself. You can also hear the changes in the children’s voices as they’ve grown—Jano, Maril, Zoé, Marlo, and Renais. Their music isn’t just cute; it’s also sharp and incisive.
