Having uniquely innovated Detroit-style electro, he’s now ventured into the realm of digidub. “Science” (sample 1) features a New Age vibe, mysterious ambience, and steppers, with samples and sound effects boldly distorted and left to drift through the soundscape. Drawing from the lineage of UK dub and new roots pioneers like THE BUSH CHEMISTS, THE DISCIPLES, JAH SHAKA, ON-U SOUND, CONRAD SCHNITZLER, and THE SLITS, this track showcases an exquisite digital sensibility and a keen awareness of the sound system.
