Since the artist details are being kept under wraps—making it highly likely this is a pseudonym or a group—I’ve secured a copy of this debut release by GLASGOW SOUND SYSTEM! The first pressing is already sold out, and a reissue is planned. It kicks off with “Cocaine” (sample 1)—featuring a finely undulating electronic bassline and strings, with a distinct dark Italo flavor—and continues with “Planet” (sample 2), a rave-disco track packed with dazzling sounds and spoken word. Spanning from old-school Italo to body music, this EP overflows with excessive energy and emotion. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
