This is a collaboration with producer Giorgio Lopez—who is releasing a solo project on the up-and-coming Berlin-based Balearic label *Cosmic Romance*, run by Ed Longo, an engineer and producer associated with *HONEST JON’S* and *EARLY SOUNDS*—featuring the punchy reggaeton track “Nayar ft. Giorgio Lopez” (sample_1)—which also served as the lead single—kicks things off, followed by the samba-disco track “Vera En Paraty ft. Melodie Correia” (sample_2), the hypnotic Balearic “Afro Disco ft. Idd Aziz,” and “Coco Makako” (sample_3)—a track that blends South American neo-boogie with proto-house and features guitar and keyboard work by Jim Baron of Crazy P—this release consists of eight tracks packed with groove, with no instrumentals.
