A reissue of a masterpiece featuring melodies infused with such direct emotion it’s almost embarrassing—a track that stands out in the history of European library music for its uniquely sweet yet edgy sound, striking a chord with listeners in a very personal way. This reissue is brought to you by “THANK YOU,” a sub-label of Berlin’s “SOUND METAPHORS.” The remix by master craftsman CASTRO MOORE, which expands on the original and brings it closer to the dance floor, is also superb. Highly recommended.
Track List
"Rundflug (Local Flight)" (sample 1) paints an almost embarrassingly passionate melodic landscape with elegant orchestration, creating a unique, nostalgic, and ethereal mood; The extended dub by CASTRO, a hidden gem from Euro Library Music, polishes the beat to perfection for the dance floor—truly masterful. Personally, I can’t get enough of the bossa nova-style lounge vibe on the B-side, “Indigo Moon” (sample 2)—it’s so over-the-top romantic that I’ll have no choice but to take it with me on my honeymoon.
