A sincere engagement with the warm, rustic, and gentle tone of the clarinet. Irregular cuts intentionally inserted into the cyclical minimalist loop technique—it is this very imperfection that highlights the “fluidity of the moment.” Hamburg-based MUSEUM OF NO ART—which previously garnered attention with an album released via the electronic music discovery platform *SEANCE CENTRE*—presents a new album that offers a complex perspective on minimal cycles, subtly woven into its serene expression.
Track List

MUSEUM OF NO ART, led by MONA STEINWIDDER—a member of the experimental electronic pop band “ME SUCCEEDS” who also releases music under the name MOHNA—has announced a new album! This masterpiece—a reflection of her unique perspective on minimal “chamber music”—serves as a chronicle of her two-year exploration of the clarinet and other woodwind instruments. The album features pleasant, easy-on-the-ears wind instrument loops—with their soft timbres—interspersed with irregular cuts that break into the steady loops, which also incorporate percussion and electronics. The delicate sound design is striking: it emphasizes fluidity to reveal imperfections, yet maintains a sense of calm as if those imperfections were simply part of the cycle. Highly recommended.
