A new release from Toronto-based house producer DEMUIR, who has garnered attention as a collaborator with CASSY and has continued to pursue a soulful sound to this day, leaving behind outstanding tracks on DETROIT SWINDLE’s label 〈HEIST〉 and the long-established label 〈YORUBA〉! Kicking things off is “Conversing With Angels” (sample 1), where disco-style melodic loops, a funky bassline, and a soulful, laid-back vibe get the party going; followed by “Everynight” (sample 2), a punky and funky groove featuring short, cut-up vocal chops; and “Mizz Hunni” (sample 3), a deep tech track that keeps the floor energy high with an addictive bass loop and striking sample chops. It’s a bit pricey, but the sound quality reflects that attention to detail—a vinyl-only release! (Original Japanese text by Akie)
