In Motion EP
Seasons Limited - Cat No: SL 121

A playful bass loop with a classic deep house vibe created using the 808. A unique melody subtly woven into the proto-deep house sound! FRANCK ROGER, a veteran house producer who has been a mainstay of the French scene since the early 2000s, continues to deliver strong releases on his label, 〈SEASONS LIMITED〉. The shimmering pad sounds—such as “B1,” named after his favorite piece of gear—are pure bliss.
Track List
Known for his house project SUN ORCHESTRA on the 〈STRAIGHT-UP〉 label, FRANCK ROGER has been at the forefront of the scene since his debut and continues to be active today. In recent years, he’s also produced hits on labels like 〈NU GROOVE〉 and 〈P.O.D〉—and now he’s back with a new release! With a sound that could easily be mistaken for a reissue—a throwback to the ’90s—featuring the interplay of classic drum machines and bass, along with memorable, hook-laden melodic phrases, “In Motion” (sample 1)—which sounds like a reissue—to the deep house track “6th Track” (sample 3), where you’re drawn in by a light, swinging beat and chopped-up soul vocal samples—his sound production is masterful, staying true to classic grooves while still showcasing his unique style.
