Deep tech with a dub house vibe, featuring bewitching, psychedelic, undulating horns and vocals, spiced up by light, rhythmic percussive drums! A new release from Sydney-based PISTACCIO, who has previously contributed to 〈MAGIC CARPET〉 and 〈PERSPECTIVE〉! A solo release from the UK modern house label 〈NUANCES DE NUIT〉, which continues to put out high-quality compilation EPs.
Track List
PISTACCIO joins the label’s exclusive solo series, which features artists like label owner T. JACQUES and VELVET VELOUR! Kicking things off is “Let the Sun In” (sample 1)—a psychedelic track featuring a funk-infused dub bassline, smooth keyboards, and horns and vocals shimmering with heavy reverb—followed by the punchy dub-tech track “Rambutan Skank” (sample 2)—a deep-tech masterpiece deeply steeped in dub influences!
