TEAL—a trio project known as T3AL, consisting of core member N1_SOUND and the female duo BALL SISTERS—has released its long-awaited new album via the Toronto-based ambient/dub-pop label 〈SPIRITUAL WORLD〉! The album was completed after approximately one year of production on both the East and West Coasts of the U.S. Building on the fresh take on dub pop—infused with street soul and trip-hop—that they showcased on their debut album, they’ve evolved their sound. Their airy vocals—the group’s greatest appeal—take center stage, paired with dreamy chords that complement them perfectly to create a sophisticated sound. Rather than focusing on the creative elements showcased in their remixes, this album features nothing but solid, high-quality tracks that stand up to repeated listening—you can preview every song on the tracklist!
