A deep techno trip that evokes a sense of space, with mysterious arpeggios undulating up and down over a heavy kick, complemented by softly cascading pads! Veteran DAMON WILD, who has been leading the New York techno scene since the mid-90s, makes a comeback on his own label, 〈SYNEWAVE〉! Intricate sound design featuring electronic pulses and hi-hats that stimulate the mind. Includes a remix by D KNOX, head of 〈SONIC MIND RECORDS〉.
Starting with the intense deep techno trip “Avoidant” (sample 1), which uses lightweight drums and synth refrains, relentless high-pitched arpeggios and modular loops, multiple layers of sound, and phrases that repeatedly ascend to create a sense of space for the listener... Featuring tracks like the avant-techno “Organica” (sample 2)—which features a kick drum reduced to a quarter of its original volume and dissonant synth textures—this techno collection guides the listener toward a profound state of awakening.
