The original was released in '93 on Polar, a New York proto-house label known for releases by Boyd Jarvis and Urban Soul. Released under the alias Black Rascals—a pseudonym for the legendary house unit Blaze, featuring Josh Millan and Kevin Hedge—this track is a seminal work in the early ’90s deep house scene. This reissue features an instrumental take by Joe Claussell on both sides, reportedly unearthed in a warehouse in Jersey City. This remix was reportedly created during the early days of Dance Tracks, when they were producing original jams under the name “Instant House.” With just the right amount of dub processing and optimized for DJ mixes, it offers a great update to the original track. Piano Man’s keyboard work really shines on this warm house track, which features a solid groove infused with gentle soul. An official release from Polar Cap with excellent sound quality. Released on black vinyl 7-inch. (Original Japanese text by KANO)
