After the West Coast label POO-BAH released his beat collection "Jank Random Vs Earl The Frequency Clash" — which instantly put him in the spotlight as a solo artist — SA-RA's SHAFIQ HUSAYN finally delivers his first full-length album. As the sleeve and title suggest, his cosmic leanings remain intact, but here he crafts an Afrocentric sound that arguably couldn't have been expressed within SA-RA's Afrofuturist, P-FUNK-influenced framework. A great album that can also be read as a fresh hip-hop-side interpretation of the chemical reaction sparked by '70s spiritual jazz!
