Recorded in 1972, at the very height of hippie culture, by a nine-strong lineup wielding violins, rebec, cello, guitars, sitar, piano, zither, organ, flutes, zinks, jew's harps, tablas, percussion, Moog synthesizer and VC-3 Putney synthesizer, the sound world here goes beyond the cosmic/psychedelic rock outlook, freely blending Nordic trad and early music with Indian classical folk forms, free improvisation, Terry Riley-style minimalism, tape collage and electronic music elements to create a one-of-a-kind meditative, ethereal realm. Includes 2 bonus tracks. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
