A masterpiece from 90S HOUSE. A cult classic released in 1990 by BEN CENAC of NEWCLEUS—known for numerous 80s Bronx electro tracks, including the timeless electro classic “Jam On It”—on his independent NYC label. This was the era of Sha-lor, whose sound leaned toward garage; Push/Pull, a pioneer of African house; and the New Tone super-best-seller “Ben ‘Cozmo D’ Cenac Presents Cozmic House EP,” reissued by THUG. Thanks to the excellent work of RUSHUHOUR in 2012—which has done a fantastic job unearthing early house music—this analog reissue has been repressed after a decade. The artwork restores the original label design and features a photo of him playing the now-famous Roland Jupiter-6.
