A solo debut from NICURI, an up-and-coming artist in the DJ QU and JOEY ANDERSON scene!
NICURI, who appeared on all three installments of the “Exchange Place” compilation from DJ QU’s label STRENGTH MUSIC, makes his long-awaited solo debut! “Doldrums,” featuring powerful analog beats that keep the groove tight while filtered synths undulate in a freaky rhythm, is quintessential New York underground house that resonates with DJ QU and JOEY ANDERSON. The B-side, “Replenish The Earth,” features a beautifully ethereal, wavering melody and includes a remix by PARRISH ADAMS of EMPHASIS. Released on BLIQ, a great UK label connecting underground house networks in Spain, New York, Chicago, and Germany!
