A super-limited vinyl from ILL-R, the other face of Italian techno producer ILARIO ALICANTE, known for his work at TENAX CLUB and COCOON. The original is an acid-tinged downtempo song — which could just as easily be read as half-tempo — musing on the melancholy world outside the window, and the maverick Herbert handles the remix (sample2). Somehow, once Herbert gets his hands on it, the darkness is swept away and even the vocal takes on a completely different expression — remarkable. The B-side deep track, thinly wrapped in melancholy electronica vocals, has a solitary worldview all its own. Restock looks unlikely, so don't wait.
