It features one original, three John Fahey covers, one cover each of SKIP JAMES and WILLIAM MOORE, plus a re-edit by Tomoki Kanda of CLUE-L. The opening track is a unique piece full of psychedelic feeling, packed with electrified gimmickry and a collage sensibility, carrying on the multidimensional folk sound handed down from John Fahey to Jim O'Rourke. And the magical guitar work on the singular, warped blues numbers—inspired by the great playing of his predecessors—is superb. Experimentation and technique in the service of surprise and richness.
