Turning pro as a singer straight out of high school in 1967, she worked with groups such as "CITY LIGHTS" and "SOUL SATISFIER" before TOM MOULTON came on board in 1974 for the smash hit "Never Can Say Goodbye," which topped Billboard's disco chart for four straight weeks — earning her the title of eternal Disco Queen. Here, hall-of-fame diva GLORIA GAYNOR's obscure and faintly melancholic 1979 disco soul cut "Love Is Just A Heartbeat Away" gets an ASHLEY BEEDLE edit on the A-side, backed with an instrumental version by HEAVEN & HELL ORCHESTRA — the group featured throughout the soundtrack "Nocturna: Granddaughter of Dracula," which opens with that very theme — also in an Ashley Beedle edit!
