Flying In My Avrocar

  • Cat No: PERMVAC124-1
  • updated:2015-08-29

Format

12inch 1390 JPY

A notable new release on Permanent Vacation, the prestigious nu-disco/Balearic label, from North Lake, the Michigan-based US producer known for releases on RESISTA — the popular house/leftfield label familiar from Daphni and Tom Croose releases — as well as SAVAS PASCALIDIS and SWEETSHOP.

Four meticulously crafted nu-disco/Balearic/deep house tracks full of exquisite nuance, including A1 "Flying In My Avrocar" (sample1), a thoroughly European, dark, twisted and nostalgic slice of acid disco; A2 "Isoterics" (sample2), sonically obscure, dreamy chill-out nu-disco; and B2 "Mobius Tapes" (sample3), a languid, mid-tempo electric acid disco cut. Check the tracklist too. Recommended nu-disco release. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
