The latest release from Wales' buzzworthy house label CROW CASTLE CUTS! A1 is a dubwise, dope-stepping cut, and the whole thing sounds great — definitely worth checking out.
CROW CASTLE CUTS built a following by tapping into its underground network — featuring the likes of LUV JAM, SAN SODA, GOOD GUY MIKESH & FILBURT and MARQUIS HAWKES — and releasing anonymous various-artists-style EPs. Now comes their first single-artist release, from the anonymous UK artist LAHJ. An alias of Paradigm X? Apparently he also does live performances using vintage synths and hard disks. The acid-tinged B2 and A2 are must-hears as well.
