Following POWDER's cult hit out of Tokyo, BORN FREE's latest comes from EMPFANGER, the alias of label operator SLING AND SAMO. It's billed as SLING AND SAMO, but SLING (KING SLING) is probably SAMO too, so this is really a SAMO solo project! While hinting at influences from krautrock, industrial and electronic body music, HOUSE OF GOD-style samples conjure up a mysterious atmosphere all its own. A mysterious world of lo-fi electrified funk.
