A rare and singular sound, where European pastoral, cute nostalgia takes on classical opera repertoire — the charm of a collection of traditional songs and Verdi covers by an ocarina ensemble from Italy itself.
Track List
A fascinating CD release, tied in with the 200th anniversary of Verdi's birth. The ocarina's timbre comes across almost like the gentle sine-wave resonance of electronic music, and combined with the classical melodies it creates a wondrously strange flavor and mellow harmony. Take a look at the tracklist as well. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
