The title track's intro is loaded with psych goodness — reverse tape effects, fuzz guitar, screaming effects, and a bloated bass. And the key ingredient riding on top of it all: shakuhachi. This humid, mysterious Japanese-style shakuhachi garage sound seems to be popular overseas, as you'd expect. It's no exaggeration to say that back then everyone looked up to Takeshi Terauchi (for GS and surf, that would be Yuzo Kayama, perhaps) — including Kazumi Watanabe, today's leading Japanese jazz guitarist.
