True to the title Harmonitalk, vocoder-driven harmonic vocal tracks give things a synth-pop feel, while hand-played synths riding a Donca-Matic rhythm sit alongside blues harp — an unexpected combination that clicks surprisingly well. The strongly new age-leaning pieces, where synth drones give way to flowing minimal synth sequences, are a pleasure too. Incidentally, the other half of the duo, CLONE, has also released a collaborative LP with Buchla legend SUZANNE CIANI on DISPOSABLE MUSIC, another FINDERS KEEPERS imprint.
