In memoriam JUNIE!!! An amazing 2-CD set has arrived, collecting the complete Westbound-era output — all three albums — that sums up the solo career, beginning in the early '70s, of Walter "Junie" Morrison, the genius freak king of soul. A member of the early Ohio Players who sadly passed away in January 2017, he created that immortal "Funky Worm," and in the later P-Funk years he was a supremely important figure — synthesizer player, composer, arranger, performer and vocalist alike — behind tracks like "One Nation Under A Groove."

A master of every instrument, he served up sticky keyboards no one else could have dreamed up, refreshing vocals, headlong momentum, tears and laughter — one-of-a-kind funk and soul, and plenty of it. Take it all in. Covers all three Westbound LPs: When We Do (1975), Freeze (1975) and Suzie Super Groupie (1976). Also includes single-only tracks and completely unreleased material. Fully remastered. 36 tracks across 2 CDs. Wonderful. Rest in peace. You can hear two sample tracks from each. (Original Japanese text by COMPUMA)
