Phil Dadson, who studied under Cornelius Cardew, founded the New Zealand chapter of Cardew's experimental performance collective the Scratch Orchestra, and went on to form the legendary FROM SCRATCH, active since the 1970s. This release features their signature work "Gung Ho 1,2,3D" alongside performances by three acts—GOAT (led by YPY's Hino), DON'T DJ, and the Utena Kobayashi group—each tackling the piece based on its music and score!
