A collaboration between MAX D's alias DOLO PERCUSSION and 1432 R's DAWIT EKLUND!
A 12-inch released under the double billing of DAWIT EKLUND — based at 1432 R, the label that won a following for its wonderfully mysterious sound bridging its roots in Ethiopia with Washington, D.C., and who has also appeared on MAX D albums — and DOLO PERCUSSION, MAX D's alias. Within the vocoder and synthesizer sounds, the DNA of Ethiopian music, with its odd meters and polyrhythms, is very much alive.
