An album by PRIMITIVE WORLD created under the influence of British lesbian artist MARLOW MOSS — even the sleeve is cropped from a piece of MARLOW MOSS's work. From the industrial-to-bass A1 to the deranged, twisted acid of A2, then suddenly turning emotional or veering into noisy experimental territory: it's fragmentary, yet held under control right at the very edge. Listened to end to end, it moves back and forth between the serious and the funny, deliberately sidestepping the direction you expect and conjuring an oddly enigmatic atmosphere.
