A bold effort from up-and-comer LEO JAMES, who has developed his WAVE/EBM-influenced leftfield techno from the base of his own label BODY LANGUAGE! "Desert Nightflower" (sample3) is beautiful, with freaky clarinet melodies and expansive synth lines cutting through weighty synth drones, while "Infinity" (sample1&2) colors a midtempo beat with clarinet, classical piano and percussion.
