A solo affair, where the Berlin based Japanese artist keeps on exploring a variation of different sounds on his new 12". Thumping Acid, moody ambient, Acid house for a club night, and some more familiar mellow drum machine and melodic pieces.

First up, a joint effort under the ALMOST EAST moniker with Fabio, aka YUZO IWATA, who shifted his base from Tokyo to Sapporo to Berlin and last year dropped a 12-inch on CREYMOORE's label 〈PLUIE/NOIR〉: "Sonomannma East" (sample1), where a TB-303 honed through busking growls away before the track wraps itself in blissed-out synth ambience toward the back half. Also don't miss "East" (sample2) under the mystery alias KOMPLEX TWINZNEE, intelligent techno-meets-electro built from abyssal electronic drones firing off analog off-kilter beats with just the right amount of warped noise for a deep finish! The acid track "Oh Oh Oh Acid" (sample3) under the THERZBERGERS name with MASAKI YURA is a superb ride too — five tracks compiled in all! SOL-G can be spotted on the label. Highly recommended.
