CAI BOJSEN-MOLLER, a legend of Danish underground house/techno who, following in the wake of Detroit techno and Chicago house, released on celebrated '90s underground labels based mainly in the UK — solo, as CAI, and as CK and GOTO with DJ KONG — drops a single on 〈MULTIPLEX〉. 〈MULTIPLEX〉 is the label he has run with his close ally KONG since the '90s, laying the foundations of the scene; relaunched last year, it has been putting out records featuring current-generation artists such as C.K. of 〈REGALBAU〉 and PH1 of HELP. Electronic dance tracks that feel unmistakably Danish, in that lineage of dubby electronic music (A2's KONG EDIT sample2, plus the superb electro cut "Oshi Dashi" with its silly title and exquisite arrangement) — thoroughly great stuff.
