The A-side, "i wanna be your star," is a supreme love song whose title and sound both burst with Prince worship — an electronic Japanese-language soul-funk gem dripping with love juice. The B-side, "Imi Fumei na Ronri / Hoteishiki," rides an 80s-style sound with a Buggles-esque refrain so hooky it grabs the listener and won't let go — it even sparks moshing at his live shows (!?).
