"Calico" pairs acoustic guitar with dazzling electronica for a spacewalk-like feel; the title track is a post-rock lullaby marked by birdsong; and "Outlook for the Future" is a strange, unsettling piece recalling EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY's "THE RESCUE," with Christmassy, sparkling SFX ringing throughout and lovely piano, only for a voice sample to suddenly appear.
