After realizing we might have pushed things a bit too far with curses and rituals, considering what’s going on in 2020, we’re happy to introduce ‘Still Life’, a new series inspired by a series of photographs by Tomaso Lisca. For the first edition we’re thrilled to welcome Jensen Interceptor, Cardopusher and Lokier for an electro-heavy A side, while Morah, Randstad and Empire State fathom the depths of the more leftfield side of the label on the flip.
A compilation from "VEYL," the label run by ALEX KNOBLAUCH of "VAKANT" and THOMAS FERIERO, who releases as MAENAD VEYL and AVATISM. First up, the trancey electro from Sydney's JENSEN INTERCEPTOR, a standard-bearer of modern industrial electro, is superb; also on board are LOKIER, familiar from "L.I.E.S" and "PINKMAN," the heavyweight metallic "Metalloid" by RANDSTAD (who runs "BAKK"), CARDOPUSHER of "CLASSICWORKS," MORAH, who releases on "BERCEUSE HEROIQUE" and "RETURN TO DISORDER," and EMPIRE STATE.
