A Jamaican-born reggae musician who studied under STUDIO 1 engineer Coxsone Dodd, NOEL WILLIAMS was active from the late '70s through the '80s in disco-funk and the early electro scene, later contributing to the dawn of Miami bass. Originally released on 〈TASHAMBA〉, a spin-off of his own label 〈KONDUKO〉. "Music Street" (sample1) is electronic boogie built on a rushing synth bass, dotted with spacey synth stabs and vocoder.
