Alabama-based grime producer SHARP VEINS joins 〈YOUTH〉, a key leftfield label that has also featured GEORGIA, KASSEM MOSSE and EVEN TUELL! The opener "Unless" has FX'd vocals vibrating along with the noise, while the poppy "Glue Forest" strips the sub-bass out of his sound and adds wistful keys. Recommended cuts include one of the album's heaviest tracks, the foggy grime piece "This Watery Reflection" (sample1), and "No Sign of Them" (sample3), with its finely detailed claps and striking pitch-shifted vocals.
