Keyboardist Kiefer Shackelford has had a string of excellent releases on Stones Throw Records since his debut on Leaving Records in 2017, including "When There's Love Around" and the consecutive release of " Between Days. The LP, which was previously released digitally, is now available in analog format.

This is the final installment in Kiefer's trilogy, following the cassette-only "Bridges" in 2019 and "Superbloom" the same year. 'It was born out of a jam that my friend and I were playing as background music when we were asked to play at a fancy event. I made some chord changes and had a great time that night. I then added a lot of new ideas on top of those chords and this song was born. The feeling this song will evoke for me is "Gratitude." "Friends" called, "was born from an idea I recorded in 2018, but materialized in 2020. Listening to this song, I feel like a fuckin' superhero. The piano is my cape and I can almost hear it fluttering in the wind." The "Superhero" called, "Superhero," eight songs, including some short ones. The last song is a cover of ROY AYERS' "Everybody Love The Sunshine" featuring Theo Croker. 45rpm MLP on black vinyl. Slow and wonderful. We also have the full album When There's Love Around 2LP, limited edition and black vinyl in stock. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
