Behind HANAPI's gorgeous falsetto voice are rich harmony vocals like a lonely yodel floating above a seaside choir. Add to that purely acoustic instruments—lap steel guitar, ukulele, harp guitar—gently intertwining with the melting vocal melodies. A real gem. Hawaiian reissues and compilations tend to focus on uptempo material, but this one is a rare gathering of calm, chilled-out tunes. Perfect for dancefloor ears as well as chill-out and after-hours listening. Aloha Got Soul's releases have been getting a huge response, but here let's turn back the clock and immerse ourselves in the world of old Hawaii. Enjoyable all year round, any season. The best~~~ (Original Japanese text by Shhhhh)
